Paul D. Aleshire

ALESHIRE, Paul D. age 59 of Bethel Twp passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 5, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital. Paul was born July 27, 1951 in Washington Court House son of Harold & Eva Jean (Reaster) Aleshire. He was a 1972 graduate of I.T.T. Tech; was the retired Property Manager with M.R.D.D. and had been the head of buildings, grounds, and maintenance with Trotwood City Schools. Paul was a member of Faith Works Church and the Emaeus Community and was active in House Church. He was well-known as a longtime youth sports coach in Trotwood and Northridge. Paul was preceded in death by his father and one brother Michael Aleshire. He is survived by his wife Karen of Bethel Twp; his mother Eva Jean Aleshire of Washington Court House; 2 daughters Aimee (Bob) Marshall of Cincinnati and Jennifer Aleshire (Robert Carmack) of Englewood; one brother Mark (Cathy) Aleshire of Washington Court House; 2 grandchildren Brianna & Brayden; 2 step-children Matthew (Ginay) Briggs and Maggie (Ricky) Barnhart; 3 step-grandchildren Laycea, Spencer, and Alli and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of Pauls life will be held Saturday January 8 at 3:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Linda Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00pm until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Pauls memory.
