Dr. Paul Arnett Bradley, D.C., age 86, of Vandalia, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 12:25 am, at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. He was the son of the late Paul Ackerman Bradley and Helen (Arnett) Bradley of Greenville, Ohio. He was retired from American General Life Insurance Company. Dr. Bradley was a member of the Master Masons, Aero Lodge, Dayton, Ohio for over 50 years and the Scottish Rite 32nd Degree. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #707, Englewood, Ohio and the WACO Historical Society, Troy, Ohio. He was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel of the Commonwealth of Kentucky on April 19, 1974. Paul was born in Greenville, Ohio on November 28, 1925. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1943 where he played football as a defensive linebacker. He was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran and was honorably discharged. He was a surgical technician while serving on the U.S.S. Admiral W.S. Benson " AP120. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1948 from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Paul loved to fly and received his pilots license. He enjoyed singing and his favorite singer was Mario Lanza. He loved to ready western cowboy books. He loved dogs but wasnt too fond of cats. He also liked water skiing, sailing, golf, tennis and many other sports. His favorite team was Ohio State University. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Klopfenstein) Bradley. They were married on December 5, 1969. He is also survived by his children, Pamela Ann Bradley and Beverly Kay Bradley of Wisconsin, Deborah Trent of Indiana, twins, Jeffrey Allan Bradley, Sr. and his wife, Suzanne of Louisville, Kentucky, Jerrold Byron Bradley, and his wife, Denise of Hillsboro, Ohio, Rodney Scott Bradley of Dayton, Ohio and Ann of Florida. Also surviving, one step-daughter, Renee Rolf Yaeger and her husband, Bryan of Sidney, Ohio and one brother, William Bradley and his wife, Marilyn of Greenville, Ohio and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father of Greenville, Ohio and one sister, Patricia Ann (Bradley) Howitt of Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York. Services at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 1:30 pm. The Dayton Masonic Lodge will also have a service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm on November 14th. Burial will be held at Poplar Hill Cemetery, S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio with full military honors.
