Paula Jo Jewett (née Burkholder) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on Sunday, October 6th at 5:40 PM surrounded by her loved ones after a two year battle with cancer.
Paula was born on May 8th, 1956, the first daughter of Clare and Jean Burkholder and grew up in Lima, Ohio. She married her husband of 38 years, Scott Jewett, on July 11th, 1986. They moved to Tipp City, Ohio and had two children, Tyler and Allie.
Paula was an award winning advertising sales rep for over 35 years. She was a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts, and a singer in the church praise and worship band. She loved the outdoors and spent many weekends hiking, camping, and kayaking with her friends and family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Jewett, two children, Tyler Jewett and Allie Boyd, and her only granddaughter, Lily Boyd. She is also survived by her mother, Jean Newhouse, her sisters, Patty Benner and Penny Lloyd, and her life-long best friend, Kelly Miller. She was preceded in death by her father, Clare Burkholder.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Tipp City Global Methodist Church, 8 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Paula to the Tipp City Global Methodist church, donations can be submitted via the church website at https://tippcitygmc.org/give/
