Penny L Dirks

DIRKS, Penny L. age 70 of Butler Twp., passed away Friday November 22, 2013 at her residence following an illness. She was born December 23, 1942 in Dayton, daughter of the late Eugene and Stella White. Penny loved spending time at Grand Lake St Marys with her family. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Jerry, Jim, and John White and one grandson Jason Miller. Penny is survived by her husband of 54 years Randy; 2 daughters Debbie (Rob) Fairburn of Union and Tammy (Jim) Miller of Laura; one sister Jude Jochum of CA; one brother Tom (Norma Jean) White of FL; 2 grandsons Douglas Miller and Tyler Fairburn; one great-grandson Jason Michael Miller and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 27 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of the service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Penny's memory.
