Philip Bruce Koewler

KOEWLER, Philip B., age 75 of Ludlow Falls, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born July 27, 1941 in Troy, OH, son of the late Harold & Violet (Kane) Koewler. Philip was a U.S. Army Veteran, was a retired crane operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers and was also the Owner/Operator of P&S Cycle Shop. Preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Trina Koewler, Philip is survived by his wife, Carol of Ludlow Falls; 2 sons, Todd & Brad Koewler of Vandalia; 1 sister, Karen Gallup; 1 brother, Dave Koewler (Joan); 9 grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 5 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Curt Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm.
