Phillip A. Pacey Jr.

PACEY, Phillip A. Jr., age 86, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 5, 1924 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Phillip A. Sr. & Carmelita Pacey. Phillip was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran who proudly served at Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Forest Ridge Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Produce One. Phillip is survived by his children, Steve, Cliff, Tom & wife, Debbie, Bev & Joan Pacey; 1 brother, Charles Buddy Pacey & wife, Barbara; 6 grandchildren, Connie, Kristin, Michael, Andrew, Susie & Lisa; special niece & nephews, Jenny, David & Tim and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 16 at the Forest Ridge Baptist Church, 6890 Union School Rd., with Pastor Russell Gross officiating. Inurnment at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forest Ridge Baptist Church in Phillips memory. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
