Phyllis B. Sprada

SPRADA, Phyllis B., age 86 of Celina, formerly of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Center. She was born November 14, 1925 in Dayton, daughter of the late Irwin I. & Bessie (Hagerman) Berry. Phyllis was a retired employee of the Old Hickory BBQ with 36 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Sprada, Phyllis is survived by 1 son, Douglas Sprada of Vandalia; 1 daughter, Barbara Fahrenholz of Lewisburg; 1 brother, Keith Berry (Pat) of West Milton; 4 grandsons, Mark Sprada of FL; Brian & Matt Sprada of Brookville & David Bordenkricher of Huber Heights; 2 step-granddaughters, Michelle Dudon & Jody Neff of Lewisburg; 6 great-grandchildren, David Joe, Colin, Jaiden, Sidney, Blake & Dresden and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, August 21, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Bob Vogelmann officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service.
