Ralph Deubner

DEUBNER, Ralph A. age 92 of Dayton, passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton following an illness. He was born March 25, 1916 in Greenville, son of the late Walter and Chloe (Stauffer) Deubner. Ralph was a graduate of Greenville High School, was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of V.F.W. Post 7262 in Greenville. He was a former employee of the Van Cleve Hotel and he retired from The Inn restaurant. Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Mae; 2 brothers Roscoe and wife Betty Deubner, Everett & wife Muriel Deubner, and sister Edna & husband Lindsey Baker. Ralph is survived by one daughter Kristy Deubner & Apryl Holland of Huber Heights; 2 sons Ralph Gregg Deubner of Dayton, and Ron (Rita) Deubner of CA; 2 grandchildren Jeremy Deubner and Amy Shipman; 2 great-grandchildren Lyndsey and Adam Shipman and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday November 19 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ralphs memory.
