PRICE, Raymond age 81, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Grandview Hospital. He was born March 26, 1929 in Hazard, KY. Raymond served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years of service throughout the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. He was also a retired employee of the Hobart Corp., with 18 years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Vandalia, he loved fishing, enjoyed working and golfing at Homestead Golf Course, and Raymond dearly loved his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Bertha Price; his step-mother, Emojean Price-Gash and 2 brothers, Gene & Stanley H. Price, Raymond is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosella (Klepinger); 2 sons, Ronald Price, and Kevin & wife, Michelle Price all of Tipp City; 1 sister, Lois Combs of Hamilton; 2 grandchildren, Aaron & Alicia Price and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 18 at St. John Lutheran Church, 122 W. National Rd., Vandalia with Pastor Gil Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Friday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in Raymonds memory.
