Rebecca J. Pierson

A devoted & loving wife, mother & grandmother,

Age 72, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Miami County Hospice Unit. Rebecca was born August 30, 1944 in Dayton to David M. & Elizabeth Jean (Hilgeford) Gough. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Donald E. Pierson; and a brother, Daniel Gough.

In addition to her mother, Rebecca is survived by three children, Rodney Gough (Teri), Carrie Rademachir & Emily Gough; five grandchildren, Aaron (Hannah), Jessica, Grace, Lauren & Nicole; great grandchildren, Maddie, Mackenna, Layne, Maverick, Abby & Jesse Dean; two brothers, Michael Gough (Linda) & Anthony Gough (Linda); sister, Julie Johnson (Chuck) and their children, Nicholas Gough & Natalie Mannheim.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (7/5) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 Hyatt St., Tipp City. Deacon Charles Wright will officiate. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Rebecca to the church.
