Richard Charles Sterling

Age 83, of Butler Twp., passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at his home. Dick was born October 3, 1940 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Richard Howard & Helen (Price) Sterling. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Lou Schurfranz; and by two siblings, Barbara & Robert.

Dick graduated from Hamilton High School and went on to earn his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and retired from Wright-Patterson AFB with over 25 years of service.

Dick is survived by his wife of the past 55 years, Barbara J. (Spaite) Sterling; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
