Rita Beal

BEAL, Rita E. age 80 of Butler Twp. passed away Sunday July 31, 2005 at Dayton Heart Hospital as a result of heart failure. She was born November 5, 1924 in Dayton, daughter of the late Gustav & Augusta Liefke. Rita was a retired school bus driver for the Vandalia Butler City Schools and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean F. Beal; a daughter Deanna L. Heiser; a brother Edward C. Liefke Sr. and a sister Adala G. Phillips. Rita is survived by 2 sons Douglas R. and wife Jan Beal and David D. Beal all of Tipp City, one brother Alfred G. & wife Frances Liefke of CA, 5 grandchildren Ben, Jennifer, Charles Jr., Emily, and Justin, 2 great-grandchildren Kaylea, and Kirsten and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 4 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Brian Kitner officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Dayton Heart Hospital Memorial Fund in Ritas memory.
