Robert L. Booher

BOOHER, Robert L., age 84 of Vandalia passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Brookhaven Nursing Center. He was born November 18, 1931 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Earl F. & Frances (Fritz) Booher. Robert was a longtime member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Vandalia Masonic Lodge #742 F&AM. Preceded in death by his wife, Georgia, Robert is survived his children, Robert E. Booher (Terri Tarver) and Deb Zurawski (Paul); and granddaughter, Laura Bergman (Chris). Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, April 21 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will follow at Willowview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Vandalia United Methodist Church in Robert’s memory.
