COOPER, Robert C. “Bob”, age 91 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 18, 1926 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Floyd M. & Faye (Richardson) Cooper. Bob was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict while serving in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy. He was an engineer with Globe Industries and was also a registered nurse, following graduation from the Kettering College of Nursing. Preceded in death by son, Robert Matthew Cooper; granddaughter, Allie Fowler; brother, Bill Cooper & sister, Louella Sprinkle, Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Antoinette “Toni” Cooper; daughters, Sarah Bramlage (Joe) and Teresa Fowler (Jason); grandchildren, Jessica & Keegan Fowler; great-granddaughter, Braelynn; brothers, Marvin, Roger & Dean Cooper; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Cindy White officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:30 pm until time of service.
