Robert C Hawke

HAWKE, C. Robert, age 70 of West Milton, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born April 11, 1938 in Dayton, OH, son of the late J. Charles & Patricia (Blank) Hawke. Robert was the Owner & Operator of Hawke Electric for over 29 years, was an Eagle Scout and was a member of the Air Force Reserves. Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathryn (Geske); 2 daughters, Patty & husband, Randy Masarik of Litchfield, MI and Christine & husband, Mike Jaymes of Butler Twp. and 1 granddaughter, Miranda Masarik. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, July 11, (TODAY) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor David Starry officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association in Roberts memory.
