Robert McCormick

McCORMICK, Robert M., Bobby age 44, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 18, 2008. He was born January 5, 1964 in Dayton, OH, son of William L. & Jeanette (Richardson) McCormick. Bobby was employed with Flow Serve Inc., was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 668 & the Legion Riders and was a Patriot Guard Rider. Preceded in death by 1 sister, Rhonda Lynn Elliott, Bobby is survived by his parents, William & Jeanette of Vandalia; 1 daughter, Tacie Marie McCormick of Vandalia; 1 sister, Cheryl McCleane (Dennis) of Lebanon; 1 brother, Bill McCormick (Angie) of Vandalia; his girlfriend, Holly Devlin; nieces & nephews, Shawn McCormick (Sheena), Stacy McCormick, Jason Elliott (Sasha), Ashley Corwin (Dave), Dustin Sargent, & Emily Sargent; 1 great-niece, Makayla; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 22, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday (TODAY) from 5-8 pm and also from 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday.
