Robert J Salley

SALLEY, Robert J. age 85 of Ludlow Falls, passed away Tuesday December 22, 2009 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Robert was a retired employee of Delco Moraine and was an active member of UAW #696. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion in West Milton. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Salley in 2002. He is survived by one daughter Sharon Flint (Jack Braden) of Loveland; one son John (Gail) Salley of Tipp City; one brother Bill Salley; 2 grandsons Joshua and Jonathan Salley; one great-granddaughter Vivienne Salley and his special friends and caregivers Don & Janice Browning. Funeral services will be held Monday December 28 at 1:30pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Al Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital or to any Veterans charity of your choice in Roberts memory.
