Robert Stritenberger, “Lefty” age 81, of Huber Heights passed away January 8th, 2021. He was born February 3, 1939 in Dayton, OH, son of the late John & Eva (Pepper) Stritenberger. Lefty loved and enjoyed his family, playing golf, fishing, softball, canvas painting and coaching.
He was a 1957 graduate of Kiser High School. Lefty played baseball and basketball in High School, was inducted into the Kiser Hall of Fame and was a longtime youth baseball coach. He worked as a machinist for various companies. He loved fishing and golfing with his buddies. He also played softball up until he was in his late 70’s.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Stritenberger, Lefty is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Patricia Stritenberger, and will be greatly missed by his 4 children, Bob Stritenberger, Tammy Stritenberger, Tony Stritenberger, and Terri and David Radominski; his 3 grandchildren, Ryan Radominski, Aaron Radominski, Matthew Radominski; brother, John and Margie Stritenberger; sister, Barbara Nealon, sister, Becky and Wayne Moore, and brother, David and Cindy Stritenberger.
A private family service was held, and a Celebration of Life will be held for Lefty’s family and friends this Spring. Once details are confirmed, an update will be shared on the Morton & Whetstone website. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Robert’s honor.
