Robert Wilson

WILSON, Robert W., age 92, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 20, 1917 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Clarence and Eva (Weaver) Wilson. Preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters, Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia; daughter, Ann; grandchildren, Rachel and Jake; great-granddaughter, Peyton, his brother, Joe and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was a US Navy Veteran serving his country from 1942-1946; he then started his own business, A Electric Repair and worked as an electrician until his retirement in 1979. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm. Private family graveside will be held at Dayton National Cemetery.
