Rose Marie Connors

ROSE MARIE CONNORS (Giner), age 61, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday October 30, 2014 at Sycamore Hospital after battling a long illness. Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by the love of her life- her devoted husband, Greg Connors of 44 years; her beloved son, Chad (Kimberly) Connors of Vandalia; treasured grandchildren Kelcie and Cal Connors; dedicated brother Danny (Cindy) Giner of Kettering; loving sister Kay Thornton of Viola DE; mother-in-law, Gladys Connors; special nephew, Michael Babb and best friend & sister-in-law, Sandi Connors. Rose leaves her memory to many other beloved family members & friends including all of her nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Connors; parents Juan and Louise Giner; sister Jo Claire and father-in-law, Ballard Connors. As a graduate of Belmont High School, Rose spent her career working in the healthcare field at Grandview Hospital until she retired. Funeral services will be held graveside at Miami Corwin Cemetery on 4379 Old State Route 73 East - Corwin, Ohio (near Waynesville) at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 1st. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:30am at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home in Vandalia on Saturday November 1st. The family appreciates all of the thoughts & prayers they have received.
