Rose M. Rehmert

REHMERT, Rose M. age 69 of Huber Heights passed away Wednesday July 21, 2010 at her residence following an illness. She was born November 3, 1940 in Jackson Co. TN daughter of the late Lloyd & Effie (Wiley) Gentry. Rose was a member of First Baptist Church of Vandalia, and was a 1959 graduate of Northridge High School. She enjoyed scrap booking as a hobby. She was preceded in death by one son Rodney Rehmert; 1 brother Ken Gentry, and 1 sister Evelyn Barnes. Rose is survived by her husband of 49 years Don; one son Mike & wife Char Rehmert; one daughter Rhonda Janow all of Huber Heights; a sister-in-law Virginia Gentry; 10 grandchildren, Les, Ashley, Michal, Hope, Alex, Dylan, Carrie, Emily, Joshua, Matthew and a great-granddaughter Coley Jaye and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday July 26 at 10:30am at First Baptist Church 140 Elva Ct. with Pastor David Starry officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation in Roses memory.
