Rosetta "Patricia" Jones

JONES, Rosetta Patricia, age 86 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday June 23, 2009 at Grandview Hospital following an illness. She was a former employee of Grandview Hospital; was a member of the American Legion Post 668 Ladies Auxiliary and had attended many events at the VFW Post 9582 with her husband Paul. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband Paul, one daughter Charlene Kay Tackett, and one brother Eldon Kline. She is survived by one daughter Darlene (Steve) Sullivan of Vandalia; 3 sons Larry Jones of Vandalia, Raymond (Connie) Jones of Springfield, and Kenny Jones of Dayton and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday June 26 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Raymond Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00am until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Humane Society in Mrs. Jones memory.
