Ruth L. Hart

HART, Ruth L age 90 of Englewood, passed away Sunday December 23, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital following an illness. She was born September 23, 1922 in Dayton, daughter of the late William & Mae (Davis) Schickling. Ruth was a retired employee of the Montgomery Co. Commission. She as a lifetime member of Polk Grove United Church of Christ. Ruth was directly involved and was an active supporter of the Montgomery County Fair for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Leonard Hart; daughter Rebecca Hart-Spahr; one brother and one sister. Ruth is survived by one son Randall Randy & wife Cheryl Hart of Clayton; 2 grandchildren Doug Hart and Rob Hart; 2 great-grandchildren Alyssa Hart and Tyler Hart; a special friend Starla Kushmaul and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Graveside services for family and friends will be held Saturday January 5 at 10:00am at Polk Grove Cemetery. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ruths life will follow at 11:00am at the Polk Grove United Church of Christ 9190 Frederick Pike with Rev. Ed Long and Rev. Ron Hajarian officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Polk Grove Church Memorial Fund in Ruths memory. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
