Ruth L Toney

TONEY, Ruth L., age 86 of Butler Twp., passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born April 1, 1923 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Samuel & Gertrude (Balger) Cooper. Ruth and her family owned Toney Sheet Metal for many years and she was a member of the Northridge Wesleyan Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Mike; 1 son, Michael and 7 brothers & sisters, Ruth is survived by her 5 children, Kenneth Toney & wife, Connie of Riverside, Charles Toney of Northridge, Thomas Toney & wife, Kelly of Vandalia, John Toney & wife, Pam of Dayton and Linda Schidecker of Butler Twp.; 1 sister, Mary Dunkel of Northridge; 1 sister-in-law, Imogene Hill of Fayetteville, OH; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 29 at the Northridge Wesleyan Church, 1842 Neff Rd., Dayton, OH with Pastor Bob Stanforth officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 6-8 pm.
