Sammy E. DuVall

DUVALL, Sammy E. age 67 of Dayton, passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 at the Dayton VA Medical Center following an illness. He was born February 18, 1945 in Dayton, son of the late Sanford & Thelma (Tindall) DuVall. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was a retired employee of AccroCast . Sammy was a long time avid Hot Rodder. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Arlene Sue (Rehmert) DuVall; one daughter Frances McLean; one sister Sharon Hoagland of CA; 3 step-sisters Yvonne Oliveira of WA, Sandy DuVall of CA, Tina Fulton of WY; one step-brother Sanford (Sammy) DuVall of ID; 2 grandchildren Kaitlin and Alexis McLean and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Tuesday Dec. 18 at 4:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation in Sammys memory.
