Sharon Kay (Stiffler) Ray

April 23, 1942 — November 22, 2012

Sharon K. Ray (Stiffler) Age 70 of Vandalia passed away suddenly November 22, 2012. She was born to the late Frank and Helen Stiffler of Dayton. Sharon was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School class of 1960. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Frankie Ray, 5 sisters, Betty Mansfield, Geri Lambert, Joyce Malott and Judy Townsend. Sharon is survived by her significant other, Dale Epard, her daughter Nancy (Sis) Walton (J.C), Tammie Hicks, who she always called her other daughter, her 3 precious grandsons, Benjamin Walton, Zachary Walton (Amy), and Cody Walton, her 5 siblings, Jeannie Dalessandro (Sam), Larry Stiffler (Wyonna), Barbara Hall, James Stiffler (Helen) and Nancy Lamm, and so many more loving family and dear friends. Sharon retired from Ohio Bell after 34 years and then bought the Donut Palace that she owned and operated for 18 years. Sharon has touched so many peoples lives while she was with us and will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 27, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Stanley Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
