Sharon Vancil

VANCIL, Sharon Joyce, age 78 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Stonespring of Vandalia Healthcare Center.  She was born on March 12, 1943, along with her twin sister, Tharon Granger in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to the late Letha and Frank Sawade.  Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie E. Vancil on November 17, 2014.  Those left to cherish Sharon include her sons, Leslie Vancil (Margo), Kevin Vancil (Mary) Timothy Vancil (Jennifer Ball), and daughter, Tamara Radaker (Christopher), along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharon was a member of Northridge Holiness church for many years. She enjoyed her faith in God, cooking, gardening, reading and playing games.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr, Vandalia with Pastor Brad Lewis officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, Ohio.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
