Shirley M. Brown

Shirley M. Brown, 65 of Centerville passed away Wednesday, March 6th, 2019. She was born March 10th, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Edna Harmon. Shirley was a graduate of Northmont High School. She enjoyed rooting for her favorite race car drivers, Jeff Gordon and Chase Elliott. She enjoyed shopping and planting flowers, and she also had a great love for animals.

Shirley is survived by her parents, James & Edna Harmon; two children, Jason Brown (Patty) of Laura, and Kimberly (Paul) Leber of Springboro; sisters, Donna (Paul) Chase of Brookville and Jamie (Gary) Keller of Brookville; aunt Virginia Sands of Dayton; nieces and nephews, Jimmy (Rene') Chase of Brookville, Matthew (Sharon) Keller of Lewisburg, Shannon (Dennis) Prikkel of Brookville, Maggie (Tommy) Skinner of Brookville; and her grandchildren, Haley Brown and Devin Leber, along with a host of numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, March 11 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 am until time of service.
