Smith Gloria

SMITH, Gloria W. (Moore) Grandma Jo age 80 formerly of Tipp City, OH passed away December 9, 2006. She was preceded in death by husband Richard T. Smith Sr., parents Virgil & Beatrice Moore, and loving sister Marian Albert. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother whose love of shopping was legendary and without equal. She loved to have a good time, and always opened her door and heart to family and friends offering to share whatever she had to make them feel at home. She will be missed and forever cherished by her children Michael A. Dudley of Englewood, April Gilmore of Vandalia, Richard T. Smith Jr. and wife Debbie of Minster, Ohio and Steve & wife Julie Smith of Saginaw, Michigan. Her greatest happiness included her four grandsons Lance, Chris, David, and Lucas, and granddaughters Heather, Mindi, and Staci. They were her world, her greatest joy, and she loved them with all her heart. She also leaves behind a brother Russell and wife Donna Moore of Brookville. Her memory and love of life will remain with those she loved, making their lives a little brighter. She was a former employee of the Stillwater Sanatorium and Hengers Market. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday December 13 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Ronald Hajarian officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30pm until time of service.
