Steely Hill

HILL, Steely Jr., age 63, of Harrison Twp., passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Grandview Hospital following an illness. He was born April 11, 1944 in Otas, KY, son of the late Steely Sr. & Opal (Curnett) Hill. He was employed as a machinist with Brinkman Tool & Die and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Preceded in death by 1 brother, Roy, Steely is survived by 2 sons, Mike Hill (Angela) of Vandalia, and Tim Hill (Beth) of Kettering; 2 grandsons, Johnathan and Austin and numerous other relatives and friends. It was Steelys wish that his body be cremated and a Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 18 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. John Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Special Wish Foundation in Steelys memory.
