Susan G Coon

COON, Susan G. age 54 of Phillipsburg, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Vitas Hospice following an illness. She was born December 5, 1955 in Dayton, OH. Susan was a former employee at A.K. Steel Medical of Middletown and was a Phillipsburg City Councilwoman. Her hobbies included playing pool, golf and bowling. She is survived by her daughter Tara (Coon) Powers of Vandalia; her parents Rezin & Cora Bolen of Brookville; 3 grandchildren Madison, Megan, and Luke; 2 brothers Robert Bolen of TX, and David Bolen of Brookville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday January 29 at 10:30am at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia with Pastor Joshua Spangler officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice in Susans memory. The family wishes to thank the A.K. Steel medical staff and the staff at Vitas Hospice for their loving care of Susan during her illness. Arrangements in care of Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home Vandalia.
