Susanne Boose

BOOSE, Susanne, age 72 of Dayton passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. She was born November 18, 1945 in Oakland, CA, daughter of the late Richard and Mildred Verba, wife of the late Deane Boose, and sister of the late Rick Verba. Susanne was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, and will be missed greatly by those who were lucky enough to have her touch their lives. Sue enjoyed many things in life, including reading, laughing, and spending time with her family and many friends. Sue will be thought of daily by those she left behind including her two sons, Scott and David, her surviving brother Mike, her sister Mary, and all of their families. One thing that Sue truly held dear was her love of her grandchildren, and Sue considered herself blessed to have four loving grandchildren Brianna, Kyle, Porter, and Elizabeth who will remember Grandma Sue as a caring, loving grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 19th at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Communities in Schools Charity.
