Suzanne P. Hudson

Age 79 of Vandalia passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. Suzanne was born March 10, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louise Prinz; sister, Linda Stuckey; and Aunt Margaret Booher. Suzanne is survived by her husband, James, her sons Richard and his wife Sarah, her son Wade and his wife Lynne and grandchildren, Jonathan, Bennett, and McCarty. Suzanne graduated from Fairview High School, Bowling Green State University and Wright State University. Suzanne worked for the Girls Scouts, taught at Murlin Heights Elementary School and was a long-time Docent at the Dayton Art Institute. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, reading, hiking, and art. She was a member of Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and a past member of the Dayton Womens Club. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 16 from 5-7PM at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday June 17 at 5PM at Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 8690 Yankee Street in Dayton. Memorial contributions can be given to the local Alzheimers chapter.
