Tara West

WEST, Tara R., age 18, of Vandalia passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital as the result of an automobile accident. Tara was a Senior at Vandalia-Butler High School. She enjoyed her work at Hollister at the Dayton Mall, she loved her friends and Lady Vols Basketball. Taras three favorite things to do were to shop, tan and eat. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John C. & Barnie Ruth West and her maternal grandfather, George W. Rudy, Tara is survived by her mother, Debbie West of Vandalia; her father & step-mother, Greg & Dianna West of Centerville; step-brother, Tyler Mathieson; step-sister, Heidi Mathieson; maternal grandmother, Joan S. Rudy of Tipp City; step-grandparents, Shirley & Bernie Boswell; 4 uncles, Dennis Rudy, Don Rudy, David Rudy and Curtis West; 1 aunt, Jonnie Ruth Waters; her very special friend, Logan Houser and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, April 16, at First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 140 Elva Ct. Vandalia with Rev. R. James Pete Creamer officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 pm.
