Teresa I. Pyle

Age 67, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Kettering Medical Center. Teresa was born June 23, 1951.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemeul Fulton & Marion Evelyn (Grierson) Boone and by a sister, Madeline Boone.

Teresa earned her degree as an LPN and during the 1980’s she worked as a Pediatric Nurse at Dayton Children’s Hospital. After leaving Children’s she worked at various pediatricians’ offices and for the last 22 years of her working career she worked as a nurse with Pediatrics Associates.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of the past 46 years, Roy L. Pyle; four children, Bethany Kennedy & her husband, Garrett, Brandon Pyle & his wife, Andrea, Baily Pyle & his wife, Nikki and Bevan Pyle & his wife, Sharla; numerous grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 with Rev. Bobbie Predmore officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
