Thomas Humbert

HUMBERT, Thomas W., age 60 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, July 5, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 15, 1944 in Lebanon, Ohio, son of the late Donald E. & Esther (Phillips) Humbert. Thomas was former Deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriffs Department and also an officer with various other jurisdictions in northern Montgomery County. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judith (Copeland); 1 daughter, Diane Baker of IN; 1 son, Eric Humbert & fianc, Felicity Schafer of IN; 4 grandchildren, Corey, Tara, Cameron and Tommy and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
