Thomas "Tom" Schuh

SCHUH, Thomas F., Tom, age 77, of Butler Township, passed away October 16, 2013. He was born December 13, 1935, in Dayton, OH. Preceded in death were parents Charles P. and Caroline Carrie (Winhoven) Schuh; brother Harold N. Schuh. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenna (McIlvain) Schuh; his daughter Debra Higgins (Shawn) of Butler Township; his son Michael Schuh of Springboro, OH; two grandchildren Megan and Derek Higgins; two sisters Eileen Reynolds and Della Hine both of Union, OH; sister-in-law Mary Jo Schuh of Butler Township; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Tom graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1954; Tom retired in 1990 with 36 years of service from the Standard Register Company; was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia, OH since its inception in July 1957. Previously active in St. Christopher as Parish Council member, the football program, and boosters, he also enjoyed entertaining family and friends at his Clam Lake home in Bellaire, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at 11:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia, OH with Father Frank Keferl officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
