TRIMBACH, Thomas H., age 76 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1939 in Vandalia, OH, son of the late Lawrence & Florence Trimbach. Tom was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help in LaFollette, TN. He was a member of the Southwest Ohio Carpenters Union and the Tipp City Eagles. Affectionately known to family and friends as "Rooster Tom," Tom loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed his home at Norris Lake, cooking/grilling with family and friends and he loved to travel. Preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Trimbach, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jack & Wilma Morrison, Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Sharon (Lauver) Trimbach; 4 children, Jeff Trimbach (Terri), Rusty Trimbach (Lisa), Cindy Trimbach-Gibson (Mike), and Vickie Lynn Trimbach; 7 grandchildren, Danyalle (D.J. Hester), Jordanne, Courtney (Nate Sorrell), Summer, Chase, Cody, & Sia; 2 great-grandchildren, Arianna & Colton; brother, Gene Trimbach (Kathy); sister-in-law, Joan Trimbach; brother-in-law, Jim Lauver (Michale); special friends, Dick & Cathy Bell, Jack & Maria Johnson, Terri Likovitz & Miss River. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 6 at the St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Fr. Robert Monnin officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm. If so desired, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Dayton in Tom's memory.
