REESER, Treva Mae, (Hoke) born May 29, 1916, passed away March 24, 2008 at 8:35 pm, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Versailles, daughter of the late Oscar and Dora (Worch) Hoke. Treva was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Reeser and her one son, Terry Gene Resser Sr., and one brother Chelsey Hoke. Mother is survived by her daughter, Judith (Reeser) Morgan of Florida, her son, Thomas Reeser & his wife, Linda of Dayton, her son, Kerry Dean Reeser Sr & his wife, Rebecca of Dayton, her daughter, Paula (Reeser) Florkey & her husband, Ken of Huber Heights, and her daughter-in-law, Susan K. Reeser of Huber Heights. Mother has 16 grandchildren & their spouses and 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren in a few of months. Mother lived with her son, Kerry, after the passing of her husband Paul. She attended Christian Life Center for the past 25 years where she was involved in Greeters Group and attended the Greeters Sunday School Class. She and Paul founded Pauls Lakes, Fishing and Camping in Bradford which is still in operation today. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 28 at the Christian Life Center, with Pastor Stan Tharpe officiating. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5-8 pm and again from 9:30 am until time of service at the church on Friday. Immediately following the service there will be a luncheon held at the church. A graveside service will then be held for family and friends at 2:30 pm at the Versailles Cemetery. If so desired, contributions may be made to Women Caring For Others, 425 Findlay Ave., Dayton, OH 45404 in Trevas memory.
