Vincent J. Evers

Age 78, of Harrison Twp., passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at Grandview Hospital. He was born February 27, 1939 to the late William A. & Charlotte K. (Steinmetz) Evers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Dorothy, in 2009; a son, William Hansard; daughter, Diana Clay; and by his precious dog, Little Lady.

Vincent is survived by three children, Patricia Triplett (Gene), Jerry Brandon (Carla) & Dick Brandon (Jan); devoted granddaughters, “His Angels,” LeeAnna (Ed) Crabtree & Chrissy (William) Heilman and by grandchildren, Jimmy, Andy, Crystal, Nick, Athena, Georgia, Ranada, Gene, Marc, Jamie, Christopher, Brooke; and by numerous great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 29, at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Road, Dayton (45414). Rev. Fr. Joshua Otusafo celebrating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (Vandalia) is in charge of arrangements.
