Virginia L Anderson

ANDERSON, Virginia L. age 83 of Dayton passed away Thursday April 2, 2009 following an illness. She was born March 7, 1926 in Springfield, daughter of the late Robert & Goldie (Powell) Brown. Virginia was a retired employee of A.O. Smith and was a former member of American Legion Post# 668 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Anderson, one grandson Brian Sanger, and a brother Bobby Brown. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children Penny (Jerry) Whitt of Enon, Gary (Veronica) Sanger of New Carlisle, Daryl (Sharon) Sanger of New Carlisle, Tina (Frank) Ramsey of Vandalia, Craig (Wanda) Sanger of Camden Point, MO; grandchildren April Gladys, Shawn Ramsey, David, Daniel, and Sara Sanger; great-grandchildren Amelia, Claire, Zachery, and Layla, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday April 10 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00am until time of service.
