KASH, William “Forest”, age 97 of Englewood, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living of Englewood. Forest was born February 14, 1921 in Wolfe County, KY, son of the late Roy & Ida (Cox) Kash. He was a longtime member of the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church and a retired employee of Dayton Tire & Rubber. Forest had a passion for fishing and gardening.
Preceded in death by his wife, Nora in 2006, along with numerous brothers and sisters, Forest is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Noble (John) and Cathy Seebach (Tim); 2 brothers, Stanley & Roy Kash; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Seebach (Danea), Michelle Noble and Shannon Seebach (Jennifer); 4 great-grandchildren, Kasey Noble, Trigg Seebach, Xander Seebach and Noah Seebach; and 1 great-grandson, Colton Noble.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 14 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 am until time of service. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice in Forest’s memory.
