Walter Mayberry

MAYBERRY, Walter Bruce, age 78 of Vandalia, passed away suddenly Friday March 30, 2007 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1928 in Putnam County TN, son of the late Jay B. & Mottie (Bockman) Maberry. Walter was a retired employee of the Dayton Walther Steel Company, and was a U.S. Army Corporal of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Leora Rector, Barbara Jean Maberry, and Carrie Belle Maberry; 2 brothers Joe & Robert Maberry, and a great-grandson Ezra Folino. Walter is survived by one daughter Charlotte Hutchinson & fianc Wayne Keys of Huber Heights; 2 granddaughters Jessica Folino, and Molly & husband Samuel Noffsinger; 2 great grandchildren Chance Folino and Gabriel Noffsinger; brothers & sisters Vina Nelson, Charlie Maberry, Hazel Laycox, and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Monday evening from 5 to 7pm with Mr. Eugene Allen presenting the eulogy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday in Cookeville, TN.
