Walter P. Wood

WOOD, Walter P., age 85, beloved husband for 62 years, of Dorothy Jean Wood (nee Macy), brother of Alice Cole, loving father to Randy (Coletta) Wood and Scott (Debi) Wood, and dear grandfather to Andy, Amy and Rishae Wood, Breanna Wood Bennett, Lisa and Derek Hornsby, and 6 great-grandchildren. "Woody" was a Naval World War II Veteran, a teacher in the Dayton Public Schools for 30 years, and a Vandalia, OH resident for 54 years. His friendly nature, conversation and humor will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home at a future date.
