Wanda N. Hicks

HICKS, Wanda N., age 92 of Tipp City, passed away at her home on Monday, June 4, 2018. She was born September 15, 1925 in Union Co., TN, daughter of the late Isaac & Effie (Heatherly) Nelson. Wanda was a member of the Vandalia Baptist Temple and a retired employee of General Motors – Delco Moraine. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, Carroll, Harold, Marion & Charles, Wanda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles of Tipp City; and 1 sister, Wilma Dean Ellison of TN, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 8, at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Rd., Vandalia with Rev. Rick Washburn officiating. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday evening (6/7) from 5-7 pm, and again on Friday morning at the Vandalia Baptist Temple from 10:00 am until time of service.
