Wilford J. Willis

WILLIS, Wilford J., age 74 of Vandalia passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 1, 1940 in Pilot, VA, son of the late Wilford A. & Lake (Woods) Willis. Wilford retired after 47 years of service from the Price Brothers Pipe Company. Preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary Willis, 1 sister and 1 brother, Wilford is survived by one son, Larry Willis (Andrea) and one daughter, Tracy Sams (Kevin); 3 grandchildren, Evan Willis, Rachael Sams & Jessica Sams; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 2, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
