Willa M. O'Shell "nee Heery"

OSHELL, Willa M. nee Heery, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Thursday April 7, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born December 14, 1929 in Dayton daughter of the late William & Dorothy (Porter) Heery. Willa was a retired employee of National City Bank with 49 years of service. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Heery. Willa is survived by her husband of 42 years Dean OShell; sister-in-law Mary Heery of Butler Twp; stepchildren Sue Purdom of TN, Diane (Tim) Feeser of Centerville, Mike (Lois) OShell of Dayton, Jerry OShell of NC, Doug (Sandy) OShell of Clayton; a host of step-grandchildren including Chris OShell; special niece Lois (Bob) Collins; brother in law Bill OShell; sisters-in-law Fontella, Shirley, Joyce, Wilma, Doris and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday April 10 at 4:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Graveside committal services will be held Monday at 11:30am at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Dayton Humane Society in Willas memory.
