Willa Jean Webb

WEBB, Willa “Jean”, age 90 of Vandalia, formerly of Springfield, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born August 8, 1928 in Ulysses, Kentucky, daughter of the late Edgar & Bessie (Adkins) Gose. Jean was a loving mother and grandmother, and was a member of the First Light Church (formerly First Baptist Church, Vandalia).

Preceded in death by her husband, John Webb and her sister, Maxine Bryant, Jean is survived by her children, Pauline Hudson Waymire of Vandalia, Bob (Nancy) Webb of Fairhope, AL and Carole (Bob) Grashel of Milford; her grandchildren, John (Valerie) Hudson, Travis Webb, Jamie Webb (Zac) Coblentz and Alex (Brittany) Grashel, along with her great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, November 9, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Mr. John Seagraves officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Springfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:30 am until time of service.
