William Travis Bass

BASS, William Travis age 61 of Dayton, passed away Sunday August 31, 2014 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Mr. Bass loved to attend church. He was a participant in the Special Olympics where he competed in the bowling and fishing competitions. He also enjoyed watching professional wrestling with his family. He was preceded in death by his father William K. Bass. Travis is survived by his mother Lois Bass Dayton; one brother David L. & wife Shirley Bass of KY; one sister Pamela C. & husband Roger Jetters of Butler Twp.; one half-brother Ira & wife Cheryl Bass of SC, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 3 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Steve Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
