William Dexter

DEXTER, William D. Bill , age 64 of Centerville, passed away Sunday August 28, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 11, 1941 in Pontiac, MI son of the late Arnold & Alice (Taylor) Dexter. Bill was sales manager at Tri-State Paper in Waynesville. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Bill was a member of the Centerville Community Church and was a former member of F.O.E. #2201 in Tipp City. He was preceded in death by one sister Mariam. Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years Marlene (Flick) Dexter of Centerville; 2 sisters Sandy & husband Paul Anslow of Dayton, Pat & husband Jack McCarrick of MI; brother& sister-in-law Marvin & Sue Flick of Vandalia; one aunt Marge Huttenhower of MI; dear friends Pam & Bill Strader, Brenda & Roland Hassebrock, and Cindy Johnson; numerous special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and his kitty cat Twiggy. Funeral services will be held Thursday September 1 at 10:00am at Centerville Community Church 10688 Dayton-Lebanon Pike with Pastor Kenneth Liu officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Centerville Community Church Memorial Fund or to Hospice of Dayton in Bills memory.
